RUGGERO ASNAGO
have known the work of Ruggero, aka RUGGGE, thanks to mutual friendships. I proposed him to collaborate for the second edition of ART SWEATER ART and he immediately accepted with the enthusiasm that distinguishes him. With him we have created three artist sweaters, reproducing one of his typical “monsters” in three different colors, each produced in a single copy. Each item is sold together with the original work or with a reproduction in fine art print.
ART SWEATER ART sees the involvement of emerging artists for the creation of reproducible works on knitwear garments, limited editions to bring art into an everyday dimension.

“Fomenter of unexpected joys”, as he likes to call himself in his Bio, Ruggero draws monsters and characters that often come alive giving life to interactive parades. “He likes to tell stories, drawing them with lines or words”, his work often lands in ceramics, publishing and in the most disparate fields.
Ruggero lives and works between Milan and Lecce.
